GPS indicated the pavement on E side of road; recently resurfaced - nothing found. Also checked the kerb. A passing van driver offered some remarks but not concerning trigs.

Dest 06/53, GPS indicates middle of road although OS and Bing aerial say E verge. Token prod, no luck, assume lost to road improvements

I worked at a Humber Bank factory for over 30 years and so passed this location thousands of times, but all well after the reported destruction. Nearer the level crossing, set within the pavement, is a survey mark but nothing to do with the OS I assume.
Location was just on the other side of the entrance to Novartis car park.
A survey mark set into the pavement at TA2461011200 is probably nothing to do with the OS.

(125) Reported destroyed in the 60s. Heavy rain all day, so didn't feel inclined, this time round at least, to search for any possible remains. REVISIT: 17.7.18 Stopped by again for a closer look as I was working in the area.
