YSM473 Cleave Camp. Wow. Didn't know GCHQ was here. Felt weird stopping beside all the official warning signs and no photos lol. Great location. Cheers.

Parked at wide entrance to farm opposite some high metal fencing with high security, and walked down farm track a short distance and then across the soft grass verge to the trig on top of low bank. Looks as though it gets a lot of visitors as easy to climb up beside the trig! From top of bank, views to the coastline to the south

Left the Old Man parked at the gate admiring the GCHQ dishes (he doesn't do trespass any more after our Derbyshire incident)! Quick climb over the gate to find a well cleared path through the brambles cut to the trig. Rolling north Cornish coastal views, and of course the eavesdroppers. Centre open, s/holes beneath brambles and ivy, good condition.

Parked at the entrance to the track which was barred with a padlocked gate. Walked up to the trig which was guarded by stingers (and yes they still sting at this time of the year) and brambles. Managed to get close enough for the details and a photo.

Did this trig as YSM 227 whilst in Bude for a few days with my youngest son. Had to wait for a chap to move on who was parked in the nearest gateway on his mobile phone for ages before I could park up myself. Felt like I was being watched all of the time by the many surveillance cameras in use around here. Lots of ivy covering the trig now and I had to beat back the tall stingers to get to it. Elevation 117 meters.

Not really very much to add to what has already been stated. The plug is missing but apart from that, it's in good condition and easily accessible. The guy that rents the land turned up while I was there. He was concerned that I might be fly-tipping or vandalising the T/P. Pleasant enough when he found out I wasn't doing either. The GCHQ listening station is quite impressive.
