Great views to the hills and to Douglas. The bullocks separated into two stampeding groups around me. A bit worrying, but I stayed by the Trig until they calmed down and then I walked calmly, but quickly back to the gate.

Like most I came up from the B32. Like Phil (Clayton) the ROW was VERY wet today - I get the impression it's a little used path. Turns into a hedged lane and a little way after the lane bends to the left a gate on the left gives access. No wheat today, at the end of September it's long gone. Weather not great and a goodish view to the north doesn't come across in the photo's really. Easy enough amble up from Union Mills (and back). No cars, bus then on foot!

I approached this one over a gate to the south-west of the pillar, which was an easy route. A quick hop through wheat, disturbing a pheasant in the process which I think surprised me more than the pheasant! Nice views of the surrounding countryside.

Over the stile, and follow the RoW until you reach a gate into the field with the trig. The trig has small holes drilled in three sides, similar to those on Sartfield (TP5818) and Cronk Ny Arrey Laa (TP2609).

The ladder style is on the B32 just below a telephone mast. A pleasant walk through hay fields to the trig. It could also be approached from the south via Clybane Farm as there is a gate from the track into the field. Tarmac plug with hole in it as described by Lepustimidus.
