Parked at Clyne Golf Club, checked if access was allowed and clear and was told which way to go and to enjoy the views, I then followed the PRW/Bridleway (a bit muddy in places) for a short distance until finding the trig just off the track. The trig is in good condition with all sight holes open, FB, Spider and centre plug in their original positions. It was a lovely day and the views in the area are special,

Parked on grass near sharp bend in road. It's just a short walk across part of the golf course to the trig point. You have to cross just one fairway so look out !

Parked on road to the west (somehow) and walked up the bridleway between the various golf holes. Pillar found right next to one such hole, but on the other side of the fence. An easy bag, and a scenic one.

Staying just outside Rhosilli and needing to get some essential provisions. No car so caught the 118 to Upper Killay and walked through Clyne Valley Country Park and bagged this pillar 2 of 4 visited today. I gift to the first spell of "summer" weather that's arrived this week.

Good spot and view. Short walk to trig from North just over cattle grid. Spider, Flush Bracket and plug in place, a little worn to the top. Has been painted on one of the sides.

Found as YOSM 276 - during a trip to the Brecon Beacons with one of my sons. Parked just inside the heathland and grabbed a geocache on route to this TP which is near to the tee of a golf hole - strangely!

From bend in road to NW. RoW over golf course. Pillar has some chipping to top edges, but otherwise in good condition sitting just clear of the gorse to N side of tee-off for hole 3. Original cap is retained, with raised lettering; right and left-hand sight holes open. 360deg panorama.

Parked at Clyne Farm stables and walked on nice path all way to 20ft from trig. Path not muddy but loads of horse poo. Nice trig on edge of a golf course. Heavens opened on the way back and got soaked.

Parking spot on road bend to NW occupied! Parking on grass verge a little further to West OK. Then BW to trig - not boggy. Golf course with sheep and greens protected by electric fencing!

I Parked just off the road on the lane at the bend to the North West then over a very boggy path to the pillar - lots of eyes looking at me in the torchlight - good condition some good views over to the city even in the dark lots of fireworks to watch.

Left bike by road and started up bridleway. However, this was soon churned up into a muddy mess by vehicles and it was easier to walk up the golf course. Even though overcast and dull the views were impressive - Brecon Mountains and across to Somerset.

This pillar is quite visible and relatively easy to access being just off public rights of way across the golf course. I parked just by the bend in the road to the west and used one of the numerous tracks that led in the right direction. Once the pillar was in view it was just a matter of detouring between one of the tees and a green to reach it. The pillar is in good condition and retains an original plug with raised lettering. A lovely view point.

The trig sits next to a green and tee but not far off the footpath. There I was lying on the floor taking a photo of the flush bracket and a man was in the adjacent bush looking for his lost golf ball both of us probably thinking we all have some weird hobbies dont we. The trig is painted white.

Extremely difficult to find on foggy golf course. Just hoped all the golfers had gone home!
