Easy walk up from the road following the east side of the forestry block. Soft snow and boggy ground underfoot but super views from the trig. With Nozzer.

Now this is why I trigpoint! An undistinguished hill, that otherwise might be ignored, proves a fine viewpoint. Good views all around including the Griams, Ben Loyal, Ben Hope and Morven. Many other Sutherland hills too. Pillar in good condition with all fixtures in place. Parked in a layby on the B871 near Loch Achnamoine then climbed up to the pillar. Mostly dry underfoot but some wet bits had me glad to be in wellies. Never too steep a climb.

vgc, metal cap, deep letters. Moorland, fine view of the two Griams. First in a day of quick singles; squally showers - including this hill. From SW, pasture then rough grass. Keeper was waiting for me when I got down - perfectly friendly - just wanted to know my plans as he was stalking later.
