Early ish visit after bivyying the night before. Had hoped to camp up by trig point but managing to miss my bus from Ullapool to Ledmore junction meant I had to hitch and ran out of daylight. Was meant to be continuing along the Watershed of Scotland after a 2 year absence but lack of sleep , lack of available water ( all streams, running dry) and lack of hill and tussock fitness and already running way behind what I needed to do in order to make the bus at West Merkland on Monday, Still the weather was wonderful and the views good and at least I got to the trig point.

Very hard going over deep tussocks and heather. Bit easier on plateau

I though that this would be an easy one to go to, I was wrong. Although the climb was only about under 300m the ground was rough, lumpy, heather and grass with deep ridges and holes between the lumps. however the view was superb even on a overcast day.

First day of proper holiday this year, just me and the dog in the far north. Added Canisp to our Corbett tally in the morning, though that hill doesn’t have a TP so we bagged this wee hill to complete a very satisfactory start to our break. Good views as you’d expect in Assynt, parked at the foot of the FC track and followed it to its high point at a new looking radio mast before an initially steep slog up through deep, thick, wet vegetation. I wasn't going to recommend this route, however we returned on a more direct SW route along the side of the fence to where that cuts up the hill away from the track. I would NOT like to go up the hill that way! For a sub 300m hill, it's a boggy, tussocky little horror!

All intact. Sunny spells with heavy showers approaching. A quick bag before tea after a day at work and I am getting paid to be here!

Not the greatest day. Wet spell meant it wasn't great underfoot. Walked up track to N to a point where I avoided the fences. Cap intact - although some of the letters of triangulation are damaged or not properly formed.

vgc, metal cap, wide letters. 4th trig of the day and the only FB. Spongy heathery summit. Decent view, a bit grey on a showery afternoon with the big hills in cloud. Simple tree-free climb from SSW but vegetation made it harder than expected from map.

Great walk up from the road although if not for GPS would have drove on right past it. Fairly easy climb. Fantastic views north and west as mentioned below. Also good to see Mr Alan Key aint been about ;)
