Short walk along the track and a short scramble through the heather for the final stretch. Fantastic views all round. The FB appears to have been concreted over for some reason.

For some reason I expected a vanessa but this is a plain concrete trig. There is of course a 10 score view

From Sheigra up the old peat cutters track. Superb views include the distant Carp Wrath Lt. Ho.

Staying in Oldshore Beg, a visit to Sandwood Bay is of course a must. The bay IS very pretty, especially on a sunny day, but surely people telling you how fabulous it is are really only bragging that they got to this spot 4 miles on foot from the back of beyond (AKA Blairmore). Anyway, coming back it's not too difficult to leave the path and head for the north side of Loch na Gainimh and a short drag to the top. Now here IS a view. Take what I assume now to be a pony trekking path back to Sheigra

Easy walk to this trig in the mist along a good track, only last 300m is harder going with some bog, heather and rocks to negotiate - easiest trig I've done for a long time!

Easy walk in from end of the road at Sheigra - following rough track and then cutting up over peat and heather to the rocky summit. Incredible views from modest height especially today with little cloud - very very windy though. Nice to be the first to post a photo of a trig :)
