An easy ascent to the trig from the signposted path on the Abbey St Bathans to Edin's Hall Broch circular walk. Superb panoramic views from the trig and a grand clear morning for it, however we didn't linger long on the summit due to the biting wind chill!

Parked on layby at convenient approach to Cockburn Farm and walked the track uphill and NW through a gap in the plantation to be met by a wonderful view of this pillar. Clearly visible and pristine white it is well looked after. The surrounding hillfort adds value to this fantastic trig point. Temperature today February recorded at 16.5 degrees. I will return to visit the Broch.

Up from Cockburn Farm. Struggled to stand at the summit due to the gale which had lasted all day. 6th, last and the best views of the day. Cracking around the top and down the edges.
