There should be a footpath through the meafdow according to our map but there is no sign on the ground. We climbed the gate and wandered up to the trig - nice spot. When we got back to the car there were two farm dogs, presumably from Cockyard Farm, growling at us, but we managed to escape. Plug with heavily indented lettering.

A lovely spot this, right on top of the 'tump' sheltered by two large oak trees. Easy access over a convenient gate. It's all intact with the original plug and gazing out over a sheep pasture with excellent views in almost all directions over the Golden Valley. Concrete base just visible and proud of the grass. West viewhole open the others closed. A lot of white paint on it. A really nice spot!

I agree with Lathama (log entered after his) that this is a delightful spot for a trig point. All rural pillars should have their own little summit "tumps".
