This mountain is better known as BEN VORLICH. The trig pillar is in very good condition considering its exposed location. It is obviously being maintained by someone - much appreciated! The OS spider cap is missing and the centre is filling with debris. All four sighting holes plugged. FB faces NNE. Full 360 panorama on a clear day. Also bagged Stc A' Chroin while up here. Secondary station in Block NN61, Callander. Built 28th May 1952 for 68.17s.6d. Photographed 22/07/2006, GRP. Would you credit it? the next folk to visit the summit walked past the trig pillar without acknowledging its presence, how odd!

Only Trig of the day but with the presentation finished at 1pm I couldn't turn down the chance of two Munros. One point to note the South Loch earn road has a bridge out one mile to the west of the parking so access is only possible from the east end of the loch. Long Easy walk (slog) to the Trig far better terrain to be had onward to the second Munro. Clear day all round bar the fluffy cloud on the coastal summits.
