It appears this has been freshly whitewashed. Parked at entry to track for Grass Hill Farm then ran up the track until I encountered a gate, at which point I followed the unmapped fence to the left, up to the trig at the summit. Back down to the gate and kept straight on to head for Three Pikes before descending to the road at Rough Rigg and running back up the road.

Nuttalls walk 10.1 from Burnhope Reservoir. A glorious bank holiday weekend and whilst some areas will be rammed with cars and people.....not North Pennines.....I met two people. Surprised to find this pillar in good condition. Rather a sturdy and defiant attitude up on these barren moors. Gifting to all LDWA members who due to Covid had to rustle up their own unsupported 100 mile route this weekend.
