Pillar sits in a small field behind a high hedge, so not visible from the road. Gate provides handy access. Neighbours dog barks, don't know if they own the field but no-one came out. Original centre cap retained, lightly indented lettering; rear sight hole open, no views

Bagged on our trip from Manchester to watch City v Sheff United. Owner happily granted permission. Didnt want to just scale the gate. Extra score of 7 for this as City won 3-0 !

Pulled up at entrance to residential home on south of road just after junction turned west off main road. Water tower to north. Wondered if pillar in grounds, would have been tricky. Checked map, walked about seventy meters west to gate into someone’s garden. Stood on gate to get a better view. Spotted pillar. Bit rude but carried on into garden for a couple of quick shots. Would have asked but early hour would probably have been a disturbance. Spider and cap in place. No views.

Asked at farmhouse and was given consent for me to photo the TP. The water tower is far more interesting then the average Trig. Last of the day.

Found whilst in the area after a nice walk around Burnham Beeches. I thought it was going to be immediately next to the road so drove up and down a couple of times. It's actually behind the hedge in someones garden- a nice bonus for them

Asked for permission to visit at farmhouse, readily given. Pillar good condition located in paddock between farmhouse and water tower compound, nice views of surrounding countryside.

We asked at the house and permission was readily given. Nice converted water tower next door. Plug with indented lettering.

Noting that Teasel has visited this one, I have to say that it lies on private land just off the main road and at the time of my visit I was unable to gain access to the land because the owners were not at home. I did however manage to wave the camera round the obscuring hedge to get a couple of photos, so I have logged this as "unreachable but visible". May return at a later date to get pictures of the plate.

The closest I was able to get Taken by holding the camera at arm's length round the end of the hedge obscuring the pillar from the road.
