Up here again, but this time to at long last record it for trigpointing purposes. In fine shape with its metal cap in place and indented lettering, with a typical beauteous Dorset scene below to once again savour. Hope there will be many returns here in the years ahead.

I've been after this one for a while as I pass it quite often on the A35. The hill is very distinctive looking with it's conical shape and small copse of trees on the top. We parked in Symondsbury and walked up Hell Lane, a byway, until we came to a gate giving access to the hill. Then a stiff pull up to the top keeping out of view of the village. It looks like there is a path up from the south but we tried to access this once and were beaten back by bullocks and barbed wire fences. Plug with indented lettering.
