Visited this on a coastal hike from Port Erin to Peel. You can see the tower on Corrins Hill for much of the walk and when you finally get there you're rewarded with a splendid view of Peel and beyond. Such a pretty city. The trig point is located visibly perhaps 20 or 30 yards from the tower itself, between the tower and Peel. Unless you're a beginner like me, don't confuse it with the weird pillars with balls on (!) surrounding the tower. If anyone can shed light on these, I'd be interested. Worth visiting time and again for the view.

Walked up from Peel harbour on a gloriously sunny day. Excellent views to Peel, and all along the west coast of the island. Ireland visible to the west, and of course the ever-present Snaefell to the east. Have to agree with MAC.HAWK - this was a gem. The trigs stands some distance away from the summit, on a small top to the northeast.

Done on a Port Erin to Peel coastal hike - a good up and down hike - nice view from the trig but hiking a little further north gives a wonderful view over the castle and town. No cars, on foot. The photos are from a more recent visit on 28/09/2006 - this time an easy-peasy from Peel. No cars, the bus & on foot!
