Plenty of parking at Wheeb Bridge and then a stroll along the wind farm access track before a quick but boggy hop over a fence and up to the pillar. Nice to see raised lettering. With CJ.

Drove along forestry track from Wheeb Bridge and parked at NX 289 791 then a short stroll to the pillar.

Parked at track entrance across the road from Corwar Mains Fm access track (NX 2825 8093). Good track heads S through the farm. When it ends there's rough pasture to the trig with a handy gate at NX 2871 7944. Pillar sits on a low plinth, no sign of any damage seen - other than a minor horizontal fracture on 1 face. Original centre cap retained, raised lettering; front sight hole open. Extensive views, but none of any note.

P small area of hardstanding off main road across from Corwal Mains entrance. Past farm then cw route on old track to top c40m ESE of pillar, back natural ridge parallel with trees to track rejoining outward route. Slight horizontal crack halfway up.

Good condition pillar bar horizontal crack. Cap present with raised lettering. No sightholes open. Easy access up via Corwar Mains farm. Track most of the way there with a couple of hundred metres light heather. Excellent views across to Merrick/Rhinns of Kells etc.

Pillar in good condition but for one continuous horizontal crack through front and left facing. Spider retains OS cap with weathered raised large narrow letters. Flush bracket faces 303° NW. Vented through sight hole on FB face.

Horizontal crack halfway up trig. Metal cap, wide raised letters. Rushy pasture, nice view. Calm, midgy evening :-(
