Easy Bag. Park in the car park here (53°18'31.50"N 3°24'33.43"W) and just keep climbing till you reach the top. Unusually, it is tricker to find the way down again afterwards. This trig has a precipitous drop over the edge of the cliff just beyond the trig, so take care if taking children.

Parked on Allt Y Graig. Took paths which run first east, and then north, up to the summit and the pillar. Brilliant views of Rhyl, Prestatyn , and the sea from the pillar. Only negatives are that the flush bracket number has been obscured by white paint, as has much of the spider, and there is a small amount of graffiti on the pillar. 6 of 10 today in and around Rhyl, Prestatyn, and Colwyn Bay

Easy walk from car park south of trig, great views on this sunny/clear morning. This is probably the most heavily graffiti-ed trig I have ever seen, I suppose it doesn't help being bright white. Afterwards walked to Dyserth FBM. Earlier that day bagged Prees and Hatton Heath FBMs.

Good condition trig atop rocky knoll. Superb views across the Wirral (and windfarms). Pillar recently repainted although starting to attract some name-scribbling. FB faces east-ish with north-ish sighthole open only. Cap missing with asphalt plug in place. FB number a bit hard to read due to repeated over-painting... Easy walk up from NT car park with Dyserth FBM and aux nearby

NT Car Park (currently free) by road junction to SW (take care coming out). Clear path to summit with great views over Rhyl and the coast and along the line of the hills. Lots of butterflies over the scrubland. A nice spot in the sun.

Parked in National Trust car park then short walk to the pillar. Lots of white paint on this one so unsure about cap but FB certainly in place. A friendly local pointed out some of the points that are in view from here. These include: Snowdon, Rhyl, Rhuddlan, Great Orme & the Marble Church. Beautiful spot and viewpoint.

ODP#20: 17th and last pillar on the ODP (under my 'within 0.5 mile diversion' rule!). And a rather fine one at that - bright white so visible for miles around. Very windy but clear blue skies so fantastic views (Anglesey included?). Bunch of flowers left at base - what a great place to be remembered. Cap filled but painted so can't determine with what. FB also heavily painted. N s/hole open, but pillar is otherwise in exc condition.

A nicer hill than earlier, fascinating to see that ribbon of limestone hugging the coast up to the Orme. A protected local spot one of those wilder than you expect places so can forgive Caz and her/his ilk for their meaningful messages on the trig.

Ceramic cap. BSM. Heavily painted white. Someone loves this one, but there are so many coats of paint its hard to see the detail on the FB etc. Met a local pair with a lovely dog at the top - they come up every day from the village below. Lovely view from the top.

The trig is sited on top of a limestone hill on the north western edge of the Clwydian Range to the south of Prestatyn. There is a National Trust car park nearby. The pillar, including the asphalt plug is painted white and has FB S/3535. The site has a wide view to the west across to Snowdonia and of the North Wales coast from Great Orme and Colwyn Bay to Rhyl and Prestatyn and the off shore wind farms of the Irish Sea. The hill top has been designated a SSSI.

A lovely white-painted pillar on top of a rocky outcrop overlooking the Irish Sea and the windfarm. FB has a 'raised S' Original plug now replaced by a plastic one. The base is quite eroded all round. Sightholes closed. A little bit of graffiti but not bad considering the white paint! Easy access to the top of the mound and great views. Nice spot!

This is a lovely little hill with excellent views,sadly it is also very accessible for the local yoof,with obvious results!Paint has been cleared off flush bracket numbers.Having read other logs am surprised that this ammount of paint and graffiti doesnt count as damage!

Parked at the NT carpark then a pleasant walk up to this white painted trig - with a bit of graffiti. Excellent views all round and especially of the wind farm just off the coast. Tarmac plug.
