Frozen turf and ice meant more effort had to be made to uncover it. Still there and in good condition.

1" bolt in concrete block. Easy roadside find; OS sketch handy but measuring not necessary. Needed to dig a channel to drain the water away. Left it uncovered.

Probably not the best time of year to look for this as the block was hidden by a fair amount of snow! However after checking the pictures on here it was a relatively easy find.

I haven't found one of these types before. I was looking for the geocache then managed to find this. Turf has been dug up and lightly covering block. Nice views to the bridge and stream.

Found the block

1" bolt. Fences have been replaced so no pipe nails indicated on sketch are missing. The same general arrangment still remains with the power pole still extant

Found the block in the right place but no metal. was very deeply buried. Look for the pins on the old fence posts. Fine wade bridge nearby. GPS error rather high.. but the pins are very clear. Await a second opinion on this one. Drat Drat and Double Drat... I will return!
