Retrospective log. I was working in this area during the mid 70s, passed by here every week.

Very visible from the North side of the Thames as seen today from Foulness Island where a local told me that it will be destroyed on Wednesday 07/09/2016.

Spent a fair bit of time looking at this while failing to find the Grain surface block. Chimney was demolished 7 Sept 2016 - very neat piece of demolition: www.bbc.co.uk/news/video_and_audio/headlines/39459030
