As others, parked at the disused railway bridge (falling apart but has a benchmark). Up towards the farm, then off left on the RoW. Field is arable, but no crop today. Pillar retains original centre cap, deeply indented lettering; rear sight hole open. Good farming views.

Parked at the old railway bridge just shy of the farm. Bagged easily through field without crops. Then on to New Heaton and upon return the farmer from Cramondhill drove his tractor down to investigate what I had been doing. He's aware of triggers.

My second visit, different start point but essentially same route. Started just east of New Heaton TP and after revisiting that one continued along Muggers Loan returning the same way. Again, this one feels like a slight trespass, and although Cramond Hill seemed deserted didn’t hang around but v quick couple of photos and away!

Parked in Cornhill on Tweed and walked up bridleway to trig field. Loads of sheep in field so only I ventured over for pictures. We then carried on along Mugger's Loan, then to New Heaton trigpoint, we then had a short distance along the road and pick up the track again. A lady at Harper Ridge came out into her garden to thank us for using the footpath across the field as her husband tries to walk it as much as possible to 'keep it open'. Then another short distance along the road to pick up the track to the river and then back to Cornhill. A lovely circular walk.

Turn down the track next to Glebe Plantation, approx 75yds down there is a gas station where you can park. Walked up to the farm and joined the byway 'Muggers Loan'. One gate to hop to the trig field. In good condition considering all the animals use it as a scratching post.

Started my journey from the bridleway just before Cornhill. However on seeing cattle I took an alternative route following the road to Glebe Plantation. The railway has long gone but road bridge and cutting are still visible. Followed Muggers Loan.Quick yomp over gate and into the long grass to reach this pillar. Fantastic views to south. Spider intact. Deep erosion at base of the pillar. Didn't stay long. A new build is taking place at Cramondhill.

Walked from Melkington along Muggers Loan. The field was full of sheep with lambs, despite being on a short leash I was more apprehensive about taking the dog to bag this one with me than I have about any previous TP. Fortunately the Cramond Hill farm appeared deserted. Good views rather spoiled by the National Grid pylons and lines close by.
