Been up here a few times.. First was during a hot summer carrying a bike to aid my walk out to Abergavenny Railway Station.. Not an entire skive as I rode there from the other side of Leominster. All to finally bag the county summit. Black Hill as it is usualy known is a narrow spur off the Cat's Back ridge and although with little drop, is quite a fine wee summit. This is Herefordshire's highest trig, and the highest in Southern England, but the county top is over on the border, an unmarked bog up at 703m.
