Approached from path to south - clearly doesn't see heavy traffic as it was fairly overgrown, but passable. Not blessed with amazing weather for this one, so can't comment on the views.

First one this year. Early start, still dark. From east through East Creech village, bear left at fork, uphill. Parked on roadside on corner of road as it bears right before it goes downhill. Opening on north side of verge through vegetation, worn footpath through gorse and uphill. Managed to follow path, about two hundred metres, onto top of barrow. Good views although more to see if it had been daylight.

Parked in lay bye on sharp bend in road. Footpath straight from here through woodland up hill to the trig. The view from this small hill is outstanding for such a short walk.

Roadside parking to the south and a narrow footpath up the hill. It seems quite steep but you don't realise how steep until you reach the top and see how high you are. Excellent views and a stone bench to sit and enjoy them on.

An easy hill with a small parking spot and clear narrow path rising through the bracken to the tidy little summit which has 2 benches. Views north and over Poole harbour are fab, but the lump of Swyre Head blocks views south to the sea.

After some picturesque but narrow roads and a short climb, you are rewarded with fabulous views across Dorset. Next to a barrow and ancient earth works. Well worth a visit.

Good all round views from up here including towards poignant Tyneham village 'temporarily' taken over by the Army, but never returned to the villagers. Could hear the guns blazing away today. Lots of lizards darting around (or 'efts' as Thomas Hardy called them.) Pillar in good condition, no cap in place & all four sight holes open.

Bagged this trig whilst on the Ridgeway Hill (a HuMP) in the Purbeck Hills. Glad we continued on for this trig, it's located on a small peaceful hill with excellent 360 views, especially to the NE over Poole Harbour and Brownsea Island. Pillar is in good condition.

Took Rhayader_wanderer's advice and had no problems apart from very overgrown track. Excellent all round views. A concrete seat with lettering "Everything has to be earned but anything is possible" was close by and looked quite new.

Prominent bracken covered hill which is visible from A351 between wareham and Corfe Castle. Walked from Corfe Castle via the Knowle Hill trig. Plug missing, hole unfilled. Carries some graffiti.

Plug missing. Stiff climb up from road. Walking Sox the dog from Blue Pool on a day's holiday. Overcast, rained later. Fantastic views of Poole harbour etc to the north and the Purbeck ridge to the south. Worth a visit just for the view.

Walking from Knowle Hill trig, Craig and I headed along the ridge of the hill towards this next trig. It was like tredging through a jungle as we climbed the last stretch up to top of the hill through towering thick fern, popping out ony at the summit. The trig was in good condition with a bit of grafitti on it, no cap. Lots of water and malt loaf was consumed before heading back the way we came. Great views, shame about the stingers.

If you climb from the right angle bend due south there is a track all the way. If like me you park opposite a gate further west and head direct you have a long haul through the bracken good views though.
