Likely a Rivet or Bolt on the roof of the Bedson building, close to the edge along Armstrong Lane. No access sought. The Newcastle Active Stn and Newcastle trig pillar both very close by. Good parking in the RVI multi-storey car park opposite, £1.50 for a couple of hours.

I understand the passive station is one of the permanently installed tripods that was on top of the Bedson Building (home to the Department of Geomatics (Survey)) in 1999 when I took the photo. Passive station reference is B1NZ2465. This passive station is also the same location as the TP7287 - Newcastle active station (NCAS).
