As Teasel reported, it's right by a monument to the Sherwood Foresters Regiment and a Cache named "Afternoon Choice". Which is still there despite extensive works being carried out in the area.

We had to pay to gain access to the monument and to include it in the photo I almost had to climb into the quarry. An excellent trig though. Plug with heavily indented lettering.
