Found before walking the penultimate stage of The Ridgeway National Trail. Parked close by and found a gap in the hedge on a road junction (as TP is not visible from road). Crawled into field and TP has a wooden fence protecting it.

From car park to north east of road junction, walked to the hedge. No sign of pillar from road. Looking along hedge spotted a hole just big enough to crawl through, evidently used by others for same purpose. Pillar protected by a small wooden fence. Good idea but a bit awkward to photograph the FB. Spider and cap in place as well as OS plaque. Good views to west.

Parked in the nearby car park, My Landranger appeared to show this as a roadside pillar but eventually found it well inside the field south of the road junction. Accessed via the gate to the south east which was open and just inside the field was a small pen with 5 skittish sheep ready for collection. Nobody at the farm so visited the pillar and only on my way back to the car did the farmer return. Thick hedge and electric fence surrounding the field.

Bike chain broke when going up the hill to this one so had to roll back down to get the car. Good thing it was mostly down hill. Parked the car in the Whiteleaf Carpark and walked up Peters Ln and hopped over the gate and then doubled back along the field edge to the trig. I could see what remains of Didcot Power Station in the distance.

Didn't find the easy Triggers hole in hedge but a very uneasy hole. Should have used the gate about 100m east of junction into trig field and followed field boundary to trig.

Parked in the car park just down from the water tower. Walked back to lane and noted the Trigpointers access gap in the hedge. Field full of pheasants which by the time I'd walked to the pillar and turned round they'd all gone. Views to Telecomms tower and beyond were reasonable. I wish I'd read the previous logs for access to the gate. Saves a lot of bending.

Easy parking on wide roadside verge. Trig is located a few metres inside the field close to the road. Thick impenetrable hedge but handy weak point near the trig where access to the field is easy. No views due to high hedge. Pillar in good condition. Another pillar in this area with a distinct reddish hue.

Parked in Whiteleaf Cross carpark (another vehicle was already occupying the nearer pull-in) for short walk back to junction. Popped through small gap in hedge on side of minor road. Better access available through gate to SE of trig. Pillar in OK condition, with OS plaque still affixed. Good views to South, as far as Didcott power station.

Parked on verge by Whiteleaf Hill car park and then walked along road to gate to SE of TP, hopped over it and walked back along hedge line in hay meadow. TP in good condition with original cap, OS plaque and traces of old red paint. Couldn't see any private signs but TP itself is overlooked by house at road junction. Milky views, with red kites wheeling above.

Corner of field,there are private notices on one gate not the other! Accessed from the SE ,park opposite farm drive.3 Red Kites down in the field that didnt seem very bothered by my presence,they have a good foothold around here ,probably the best outside Mid Wales although have seen a couple in N Herefordshire and hope to see more .

Couldn't get access, as the field appears to be private, well that's what the sign and the barbed wire said. Also hard to spot as hedge is very overgrown. Nice spot to join the Ridgeway for our walk.

Chose not to risk visiting this one as it is overlooked by the adjacent house. FB visible and number just about readable from the hedge, also an OS GPS plaque visible. Interestingly, the OS Passive Station page for this one says 'Permission required: No'.
