(3502) Changes at the location, which threw me at the time, led me to think the block was now gone. A new roadside path has been put in, and possibly the grassed area has been raised. Now home and looking at this one again and comparing photos, a revisit is needed.

Bagged as YSM195 Parklands. Concrete easily spotted and has one of those strange upright rivets. Lovely area and also visited the FBM which is close by. Church is also worth a look but couldn't spot a CBM.

Soon found this bolt in the mown grass. Had to be careful taking photos as lots of ants. Limited views but good spot for the Church. now to go and look at the FBM.

The first rivet I've hunted , considerably harder to spot than a pillar, and I was not sure what to expect. Now I know for next time :-) Short mown turf and hot weather means this is probably in it's easiest to spot form , with a small bald brown patch around the cylindrical peg.

This is the first rivet for me. Recording also with Ye Ole Survey Monuments. Came here a month ago, not knowing quite what to find, and found nothing. Today, after 5 minutes, I found it. Is smaller than the photos of others appear to be.

It doesn't look as though this rivet ever had a head - it looks more like a (brass?) rod. Anyway, the concrete block in which it is set is exposed on the grassy mound a few metres from path. Easy to find - I was armed with OS sketch, 30m measure, metal prodders, spade etc but needed none of it!

It took about five minutes of kicking the ground and pacing out the distances between the lamp posts for me to locate this one. Take the diagram with you if you are visiting.

This rivet is in the middle of a new housing estate and quite easy to find. I wonder how may kids play on the grass where it is located and wonder what on earth it really is...
