Parked at nearest cross roads to trig. One third of a mile walk to the trig. There is a muddy pull in near to the trig ok if not to wet. Visited the Plough at Ford. Jonjo O neils training field is opposite the pub. Jackdaw Castle. Met a horse breeder from Cork in the pub I asked him had he any tips. He gave me two horses they both won 7-1 & 11-8. I wish I took his telephone number. I did put on a very small bet.

I don't know how this pillar has slipped through my net over the years, especially as it's one of those simple types on the grass verge. However, mopped it up today! The plug is missing but otherwise it's in pretty good nick, with just a couple of small chunks missing from the top and one corner. W sighthole open, others closed. E sighthole appears to have been recently closed. Holes under hooks filled in. Good E views.

Drive up.. Right by the roadside near a racing stable. Lots of new woodland as well, a very attractive location on one of the higher Cotswold tops. Definitely colder here than down in Evesham. Chipped top and missing cap.
