Parked to north on grass verge at a point where two bridleway meet near Bwlch Farm. We walked south on the eastern bridle way untill we reach the Offa's Dyke path turning up towards the trig point on the brow. Retuning via the Offa's Dyke path and Brynorgan to the car. Fabulous walking scenery.

Lovely moody misty walk from Llanfair Hill. Best walk of the week which has been a bit drab but for today at least that Autumn damp is wonderful - yes more parasol fungi and the trundle of the Mid-Wales line in the distance.

ODP#9: return visit for us nearly seven years after our original. Pillar little changed in that time - all s/holes and centre open, and some base erosion, but otherwise in vgc. Today all round superb views as well.

From Knighton along Offas Dyke path , situated in an area of rough grazing close to a fence, the Trig is in Good condition with all Sight Holes and Cap open, The haze spoiled what must be a great 360 view

Three of three with Ted today. Parking N in the car park, then along Offa's Dyke. past Llanvair Hill pillar, from there down the valley and back up. Pillar in good condition. Nice little summit, great views from here and all along the ridge. Met CJO on way back down.

A nice stroll from the car park in Kinsley Wood (that ends up being a long way up!) along he Offa's Dyke path. Great views. We were going to carry on North to the next trig but descided to head off to the Space Guard centre instead. Me, Mum. 400m (but no spot height!)

Lovely views from here on the Offa's Dyke path especially today. It will be sweltering later on! The pillar's plug is missing. There are traces of paint but not much. The concrete base is exposed about 3" all round - I think this is a sheep-gathering spot. W sighthole open, the others closed. Lovely spot!

Second trig from Five Turnings with the bike safely back in the car this one was back on foot. Lots of bridleway to the top leading out to a trig on the brow of a grass and gorse slope looking down on Knucklas. Trig unchanged.
