Parked in the small car park on Little Baddow Road. Worked my way in by GPS initially using the path heading SW then through the woods skirting the property boundaries heading S eventually approaching the reservior from the west. There's a set of back gates for which I used my slim build to slide under to gain access. Definately no pillar on grid ref and no obvious sign of a replacement marker.

Revisited for photo but can see very little from outside due to surrounding trees and hedges. One of these days someone will enter and discover the pillar is still there....

Almost certainly located on water company property, possibly just to the side of what looks like an underground reservoir, rising above ground level. Got within about 100 metres on the south side in Lingwood Close and the same on the east side at the fence of the property. There is a private road to the north I didn't go down. Don't know whether it is possible to get closer from the woods to the West.
