Nice grey-painted pillar on 2-stage concrete plinth. Pillar vgc other than no top cap or plug and a little chipping to top edges; RHD side and rear sight holes open. Extensive 360deg panorama; views N particularly good.

This one is close to my home, situated as it is on the top of Deacon Hill. It is slightly damaged in as much as the top plug is missing. The centre hole has been filled with rubbish. The concrete generally is in good condition despite being in a popular view point and a favourite thing for kids to climb on. It is aligned at about 60 degrees to magnetic north with the flush bracket on the north easterly face. The views, especially over central Bedfordshire to the north, are good and worth the climb.
