We were in the area doing some geocache maintenance and included a visit to the trig pillar on our travels. You get some good views of the M8 snaking eastwards to Edinburgh. Further away are Arthur's Seat and the Forth Bridges.

Looking towards Edinburgh Unusually, the brass screw cap is in place.

Slightly damaged pillar on a prominent knoll just outside Livingston. Accessed from the road to the east and skirted the reservoir. Pillar is graffitied with a few dings taken out the top. Cap still present with sunken lettering (although a bit scuffed). FB faces north-ish with all sightholes open and the bolt visible. Excellent views all round. Lots of empty rocket tubes beside the trig on the day after bonfire night! No damage to the trig though as a result.
