Trig on coastal path and leaning slightly? Great views along the coast but a bit misty still. With Coineanach Hutch #29 pillar of the trip.

In my book, MOVED means at a different site from the original one and TOPPLED means flat on the ground. This trig is neither of these. It is leaning and can no longer perform the function for which it was designed. It is therefore DAMAGED !!! The paths in this area shown on the map are in dispute and some alternate permissive paths are being used. I approached along the coast path from Cancleave where there is also a small carparking area.

We took the path to the south of Dizzard Farm which was a mistake as it takes you down and then up again through muddy fields. Far easier to walk down the concrete track towards Dizzard and head straight up the field where the track branches to East Dizzard, which is the way we came back. The trig is pretty much intact but leaning a bit as the photos show. Excellent sea views. Plug missing.
