It is clear that this TP has had a chain attached round the top and three corners have been damaged in an attempt to pull it over. This will let the weather in and speed its decline. Otherwise not too bad, and the views are spectacular. Hard on the knees!

Slightly damaged with metal plug. Steep climb up from lane but worth the effort fantastic views all round

What a great spot,lovely views and easy access.well worth the climb up even if pillar is showing signs of wear.Approached from the lane to the NW steep but short climb up .

Little changed from the 2000 visit small amounts of damage on the top face but driving sleet meant hanging around was not an option. For reference the minor road is a very sharp hairpin from the Rhayader direction. There is scope for parking after the cattle grid where the track branches off the main road to one of the farms just after the track that leads along the side of the fence almost direectly to the trig I fancy this might have got a 7 if I could have seen the full view.

metal cap shallow letters, top 1/3 breaking up, probably poor construction joint, but should be OK for a few years - nice hill & view
