My first night trigging experience. Bagged whilst driving back from Samphire Hoe via Capel-le-Ferne. Have awarded a score of 6/10 purely because of the novelty of trigging in the dark. Hadn't read previous logs so didn't spot remains of the other pillar in the dark !!

Parked about 200 yards west of the pillar and used a stile to gain access to the footpath that runs along the field. The pillar is in good condition and has great views of Folkstone. As others have mentioned, there appears to be the remains of an earlier pillar close to the existing one.
