Easily the highlight of today's trigbagging trip, this pillar is easily accessed from a free NT car park and down a wide grassy route, which it sits in the middle of. There is a spectacular view to be enjoyed on the left, all the way to the pillar and beyond, and plenty of benches to rest on and drink it all in. The pillar isn't the only hill furniture here, either - there's a toposcope on the edge near the car park, too. Unusually, the pillar bears a NT plaque.

Had been planning to go over to Gloucester to log the cathedral and a couple more pillars, but alas had to abandon that and return home. Had been plagued by stomach cramps and nausea since mid-morning. Got a lot worse once I got home and spent the rest of the day throwing up. Yep - food poisoning!

Staying just up the road at the Pudding Club, we visited this little vilage and went for a wonder along the Cotwold Way. We were just under a mile away and it was a lovely day. Trig in lovely location with great views across the countryside from its high location. As previous triggers have said, the trigpoint has been scared by their plaque, part from that, its all in tact.

This has to be one of the slightly madder ventures in our family history - mother's 80th birthday and she decided she wanted a picnic lunch (in November!). Had a great time at Broadway Tower on a dry but overcast and very windy day - blew the beer off the picnic table! Some of the family walked there down the first section of the Cotswold Way from Chipping Campden and passed this trig on the way (although I had also been in the mid 90s). Easily accessible, great views from the adjacent edge, even on a very grey November day.

Lovely spot on the National Trust land at the top of the escarpment with great views N and NW over The vale of Evesham. Convenient carpark and a short stroll across the grassland. Original plug [slightly indented letters]. No paint. N sighthole open, the others closed. Concrete base exposed by about 4" allround. Unfortunately, the National Trust decided to use the pillar for one of their 'Dovers Hill' signposts and this has quite badly damaged the S face of the pillar.
