Parked at the mast at the summit of the very minor road between Strontian and Polloch. Easy bog and rock walk to trig. Hill very wet. Spectacular views all round. Would have got a 9 if it had been sunny. With CJW.

Approached from WNW. Parked beside passing place without obstruction, opposite comms mast at NM837664. Beeline route up ridge top circumnavigating rocky outcrops as required. Vanessa in fair condition, a failed attempt to remove the flush bracket is apparent. Spider centre open. Flush bracket faces WNW, 301. All sight holes open, pillar bolt visible inside column as is the discarded apple juice carton! Full 360 panoramic view from top.

The high peaks hiding in a little blizzard - walk through Ariundle Woods then a quick wet trek up - beautiful even in the cold.

Parked in thick cloud near mast at road highpoint. Would probably have scored more if I could have seen anything.

Slight damage to top edges and around flush bracket. This Vanessa has no cap or plug, FB faces W. 4 sight holes clear. Cairned path from communications mast (road high point ) perhaps for people heading for Sgurr Dhomhniull corbetts as I myself intended were it a better day.
