I parked to the west and walked to the pillar along the track. It would have been possible to drive along the track to the pillar. Location where the pillar was located is now a large clump of stinging nettles.

TP2885 Approximate position where the pillar was located.

Pleasant stroll up to the site - wide view. No sign of pillar. There is a lump of concrete, but nothing to suggest it is of OS origin. Gone for over 60 years.

Parked at Clump Farm, walking Nutley Lane to site of trig. OS records computing year 1937, destroyed Dec 1953. If there are any remains then the brambles are protecting them. Nothing to be seen here except dense brambles, and more brambles.

Nowt (although I'd go for the bottom of the adjacent quarry as its current location) - but an excuse for an excellent circular walk from Dummer via the Purefoy Arms in Preston Candover. Marks for a cloudless breezy day, and good views over N Hampshire rolling downland.

Not found after a good search. I would place it quite close the the water tower. No TP marked on OS map.
