Bagged as YSM0731 Dumyat. Found ourselves unexpectedly in Stirling due to a vet referral for wee Charlie. Whilst we waited we decided to grab a few caches and trigpoints, I only expected us to manage a few Intersected Stations but as a we had extra hours allocated we decided we might manage this. Good path up and stunning views and a lovely white trigpoint. Mrs TJR put a stone on the cairn as thanks for Charlie as we'd heard on the way up that the MRI showed nothing serious which was good news. Still no closer to knowing what's happening when he has his episodes but at least it's nothing too bad ;-) 🐺🐺🐾🐾

Log #103. My first BSM-style FB, and a fantastic walk. Started from the Pedreich Wood car park to the west, as the normal access point along the Sheriffmuir Road was blocked off for work on the power lines. Stopped a few times on the way up to admire the scenery (not to get my puff back, honest), and met a few folks on their way back down. Track was very muddy in places, esp. at what is marked as a ford on the map, which is to be expected for such a well-visited hill. Took me about an hour to get to the top, by which time the wind picked up a bit. Still a lingering haze over Stirling, so my photos didn't turn out too great. The trig is in decent condition, recently whitewashed, and the cap is missing and plugged with bitumen or whatever. The memorial, aka "the brazier full of stones" is a bit of an eyesore, but you don't need to look in that direction from the pillar anyway! Had the summit to myself as I sat against the pillar and had my lunch. Top to bottom in 35 mins, including a change of sodden shoes and socks. [ExP-94/MiP-2/BM-7]
