Parked at start of bridleway heading north just east of the road junction with the B3135. Beside woods to the east for about 175 metres then over fence and low wall to head east along field boundary to north of woods. After about 800 metres at edge of field over a wooden fence then uphill in north east direction across grassy field. Pillar comes into view. Good views all around. Spider and cap in place.

Parked in muddy lay bye at Torhole Bottom and walk along track through wood heading east. Picked a spot along the track due south of trig and headed up through trees to fence line.

Me and Nova had a great adventure doing a circular walk to see this very easy to find...there was a kestral sitting on the trig but by the time i set the camera up it flew off :(

Walked bridleway.turned right at top of first field. Followed field edge up .trig easily spotted in next field. No views today, very misty.

Parked at ST 56113 51892 then down to bridleway and along through gate ST 56190 52130, across field, through another open gate ST 56673 52342 to trig. Again took longer than expected and getting late by now! Surprised this one was a Pokestop as it's not on a ROW?

After just bagging "The Devil's Punch bowl" trig we arrived here and parked at bridle way start. Walked through trees up slight slope and through the "useless gate" then turned right alongside first field. Trig then spotted easily in the next field. An easy bag just knowing where to park is the trouble.

I long plod over a stoney field of just sprouting crops, but easy to find. Last tick of 41 in a 12 day cycle tour of Dorset and Somerset. Total now 2080.

After visiting nearby Niver Hill, the county top for Avon - and an eminently forgettable CT it was too.

Nothing to see here folks, move along please. Niver Hill was the target for this walk, the Eaker Hill trig just got in the way (or in the bag!). A short trespass (560m each way) need to access it along a field boundary and then out into the open field. No views.

Approached trigpoint from minor road to the south via overgrown track in woodland and up steep slope. Trigpoint is in middle of pasture field with good views including Pen Hill. Pillar has only minor chips and cracks and had it's own moat courtesy of recent rain. Retains plug, shallow indented lettering.

This is rather trespassy but we saw no-one. We were mobbed by cows who followed us from the trig back to the fence. Lovely views. Metal plug with lightly indented lettering. Not sure where captain goretex took his photograph but it wasn't here....

Parked in a layby in Torhole bottom. Pleasant stroll on a soggy track through the woods then a steep walk up through the ferns and the foxgloves to the field above.

parked by the forest road end. the use of the pillar as a rubbing post by cattle means the base has been exposed by ground wear.

This is one we've been after for a while as it is one of the highest trigs (290m) in the south of England that we haven't visited. We parked at the road junction near Red Quarr Farm and wandered up through the wood, which seems to be quite a popular walking spot, then up the field to the trig unnoticed by the herd of cows at the bottom end. Decent views. Plug with indented lettering.
