Was riding along with a friend on a business trip to Whitley Bay and he reluctantly agreed to drive me to this TP. He was especially disappointed to learn that there was nothing there to see, so he sat grumbling in the car while I dodged the cars and walked around the general area where the pillar would have been. He still couldn't understand why I would want to stand in a road in a nondescript part of Tyneside. I bought him a beer to compensate.

Staying at the Premier Inn Holystone. Exam tomorrow, so some trig relaxation first. Walked down the road to the roundabout where the Range is. Pillar located, or would have been, on the W side of the roundabout. Not a sign of any remains, but it was dark. Extra point for Xmas tree.
