Parked near gate on S side of road at the bend S of the pillar. Walked up the track and hoped the gate in to the trig field . . . mud was up to my knees but not surprising with the amount of rain we've had. Going got better when i was within 150m of the trig.

Parked at Brandon and walked up the road to track. Easy route to trig. Fortunately cattle were grazing well out of sight of me. Situated between a mast and weather station this trig is in good condition. Close by a fort worth a visit to see the reason why this trig is called East Hill.

Parked on verge just down the main Ingram Valley road from the landrover track that leads up to the hill. 3 cattle grids to cross on the track that the dog had to be carried over, sheep in first field and field with the Trig Point on it. Excellent views west across to Dunsmoor & Hedgehope hills, and north east to Ross Castle.

View West with Rosie Dunsmoor Hill with Hedgehope Hill behind it
View South The radio mast compound spoils the panorama
View East Towards Curleheugh
View North Ross Castle obvious on the right. Landscape spoilt by the pylons.
