Parking roadside to E of Scales Farm. Field boundaries then sheep pasture. Some boggy ground alongside pond and awkward double b/w stock fence, but easy enough. Pillar in reasonable condition with some chipping to one top corner; cap missing, no plug; rear sight hole open; spider off-set from centre. 360deg views - good Lakeland views to E.
