Easily found Surface Block, still hiding under a small pile of stone, which were replaced. Parking next door too.

Stones still there, easy find. CJO's fenomark also obvious once you realise there's a second BT cover, NE quadrant of junction. First I've seen!

1" bolt in block. Sketch correct. Rebuilt small cairn over bolt. Fenomark also spotted on opposite side of track, roughly 7m north of manhole cover.

Easy find as block has been previously excavated and a number of stones placed on it - no need for the OS sketh map this time.

At first I didn't think I would find it as it wasn't visible on the surface. I had left my shovel in the car, at one of the nearby Forestry Commission car parks and the temperature was near zero about to give up I noticed an odd shaped stone which was in Glaslyn's photo of two years earlier. Low and behold a kick of my boot in the soil and there it was, all shiny and on display once more. Since the last log entry BT have install a man hole near the road. Start here, and go 20ft north and you'll come to the bolt. Left it covered with the nobbled stone and some others. Caution with the turning to the pub, very busy at the weekends.

No stones so took some searching for. Found after ten minutes, cleared grass and soil and placed new stones on top.

Located under a small pile of white stones on a grassy heath close to the junction of a gravel track and a minor road. The site has a reasonably wide view over the heathland and plantations of the New Forest. Distant downland hilltops of Cranborne Chase can be seen in the northwest.

The pile of stones was covering the surface block on my visit. This made it easy to find, so I replaced them before leaving.
