Parked on Spalding's Chair Hill. Took the public right of way (PRoW), the Icknield Way, from there up to the pillar, which can be found on the grass verge besides the track. The cap was missing, so I replaced it

Found on an Icknield Way cycle trip between Pirton (Herts) and Knetishall Heath. Hadn't planned it but noticed it sticking out of the undergrowth.

Parked on grass verge on Rushford road and walked along Icknield Way track to trigpoint, Lots of activity with tractors running up and down clearing the fields of flint stone.

A tricky cycle up a sandy track PRoW adjacent to a pig pasture. Turn L and on a bit. Pillar just off track. views restricted now by trees and today mist.

Easy to reach and one of the few today that didnt have to be hunted down and dug out of bushes.

Walked here for a cache as it was next to this trig point, DNFed the cache bagged the trig point. Not a lot to see really here other than dusty fields and trees most of the way around.

Easy to get to but still a challenge to find as it was hiddden in the undergrowth just 6 feet from the track.

We parked on Rushford Road and walked up from there. Plenty of insects about. Plug with indented lettering.

This T/P is located on the Icknield Way about 6km south east of Thetford and 2km south of Rushford. The plug is missing from the top leaving a hole that is just right to drop a GPSr down. Apart from that the trig point is in good condition. This one is not quite on the compass points but it’s not far off. The flush bracket is on the southern most face. Access is good as it is on a major footpath.
