Took the SDW route NW from Exton, flat at first but gradually got steeper before it even reached the base of Beacon Hill, the route up to the TP from the lane, The White Way, was short and not that steep. Trig point was behind some scrub, but I found it quite easily. Lovely views, especially of Old Winchester Hill and on a clear day you can see the radio mast of the Salt Hill reservoir TP. If you are not a fan of climbing, although the scenery was great, try parking in the car park at the West end of nature reserve and take a gradual climb.

Easy five minute stroll from Beacon Hill National Nature Reserve car park. The views to the south were excellent, with the length of the Isle of Wight gleaming on the horizon, and there was that peaceful atmosphere of a warm late afternoon. Continued walking via lanes to Riversdown TP.

Circular walk from Warnford via a very good pub lunch in Exton (the Shoe). Misty so views not great but trig in good condition. Interestingly, 'N Miller' stamped on each arm of the spider - looked too neat to be vandalism. Who was this person?!

High point of a circular walk from West Meon. Somewhere to stop for lunch. The South Downs Way is now routed past the trig point from the Beacon Hill car park, then down to the White Way via a permissive bridleway... more changes coming in the near future (according to signs).

The pillar is sited in Beacon Hill nature reserve. There is a car park available to the North-West and from here it is an easy walk up to the trigpoint. The pillar is in good condition.

We'd been here several times in the past bird and butterfly watching before we collected trigs. It's a fabulous area and the visibility today was outstanding from the TP.

High marks owing to fantastic views over the solent from Fareham to the New Forest. Car park is intimidating - zillions of signs saying your car will definately be broken into and you are a mug for leaving there.

Found together with Beacon Book Box cache. In good condition despite centre cap having been filled in. Great views!

Signs of having been painted white in the past. Warm sunney afternoon but begining to deteriorate , threating rain from the east. Notice Board has not been replaced.

A really nice walk out to this one, and excellent views all round. Well worth a visit.

I'm going against the general concensus here and logging this as slightly damaged. The centre plug is missing and the hole has been filled with cement.
