Top cap missing, asphalt plug replacement; all sight holes open (rear can just be determined by touch). Distant views to N only.

As others have said, the trig is behind the barn, on the N side of the fence. We parked opposite the gate to the barn (point 'A' on attached satellite image) and had planned to just hop over the gate to get to the trig, but we noticed a CCTV camera pointing directly at the gate. So we walked SSW to the start of the public footpath (point 'B') and walked along the public footpath to point 'C', then back along the fenceline to the trig. Trig was in good condition, FB faces away from the fence (how convenient!), front, left & right sightholes open, couldn't check rear sighthole as it backs onto the fence, tarmac plug. I left a 2p coin in the front sighthole for the next visitor to find. Walked back to the car the same way. The corner of the field (circled) had a fake cow & calf(!) Interesting to also visit the nearby St Mary The Virgin church with its 2 mausoleums. Portaloo in churchyard, which is always welcome while trig hunting!

It is on the other side of the hedge but easily accessible if you keep following the footpath, cross into next field and then double back to the trig. One timber fence with gate to negotiate. The undergrowth has been cut back and the trig stands on its own next to the hedge. The buildings near the trig are some kind of farm store and not permanaently occupied. FB faces north, tarmac plug. Fawley church is worth a visit as it has two impressive mausoleums in the churchyard, one to the Mackenzie family and one to the Freeman family.
