One of six Marilyns on linear crossing of the Parc. Boat from Maraig jetty NB202056 - Sean (07787 435621), Scaladale Activity Centre (01859 502502) - pricey at £120 for three of us. Landing at NB221068. Walk 15.6mls, 5,749' climb - a bit tired at the end

Parked at the cattle grid then over the bridge then up onto the ridge heading in a SE direction. A bit of mist on the ridge which clear by the time George Morl and I reached the summit.

Visited on a Marilyn bagging walk with Jonathan de Ferranti and Alison Fox. Great feeling of wildness and really spectacular views of the Pairc.

Stonebuilt; vgc, built without FB; metal cap, deep letters. Grass & rock summit, wind & rain, thus restricted view today, but a fine location. Beeline from N, parking just E of bridge.
