I'm surprised I haven't logged this surface block before as I recognise the location (well, the pub about a mile down the road). Surface block in good condition.

Easily found. No need to go digging for this one. Like many of the passive stations this isn't an inspiring location.

Quickly spotted this once I moved to correct side of road. Thought MRS TJR was going to threaten me with a knife but she threatened me with something else that was sure to put a smile on my face 😱

Bagged as YSM0714 East Tisted Surface Block. Easy roadside bag in the rain. Mr U2 had acquired a knife incase we needed to poke for anything, I made an 'odd' action whilst he took the selfie which had us both belly laughing, funniest of the trip! #11 day#3 - funniest selfie ever! Managed to park very close to this one and was an easy spot due to the grass surrounding the concrete being quite short.

On grass verge beside the A32. Only had a minute to try and find as was on a walk and running late for dinner. Assume still there under the grass

This has just been set up as a Geocaching YOSM. Can report that it is an easy find as the grass and hedge are well cut back and the surface block exposed.

We were unfortunately unable to find this trig, mind you, the light was fading and we only had a car GPS to go by! However, if we had known that it was a surface block beforehand we would have probably searched a bit more throughly (but for some reason we were looking out only for a Pillar this time!)

We'd been looking forward to this after enjoying our previous SB so much. We had the sketch from OS, although one or two significant points were missing on site. We searched in the right area and Ruth soon hit a concrete block with her walking pole, about the right size but with a chunk missing where we assumed the brass stud had been. Having photographed it, we were about to leave when Bren hit something else with his walking pole, just about 12 inches away. When we dug around the real SB was revealed. So, if you do this one make sure you see the real SB and not the "decoy".
