Drove to the end of the lane and hoped to park as per Glaslyn only to find the spot far too muddy so had to turn the car round (in a very confined space) and parked about halfway along the lane near some gravel piles. Pleasant walk up the permissive path and a good view at the top. Cap still in situ.

Agree with Glaslyn, this was our best hill of all 16 done over past 3 days. Something serene yet magical experienced at this summit. Permissive path from SN 78372 40037. Several contenders for hill summit, but believe the trig is the high point. Pillar has some chipping of top screed, also unsure if there is some spalling from vertical surfaces or if a consequence of a rough casting, either way damaged screed leads to a 'slightly damaged' status; original cap in place, lightly indented lettering; all sight holes open. Magnificent panoramic views.

Good straightforward access from the NE.Drive to end of "yellow" road then you can go through gate ,turning and parking 25ft. Permissive path leads to summit and pillar is nearby. Once again I find myself thinking that this is one of the most beautiful parts of Wales ,have been in all weathers and still find places that I wish I had longer to enjoy. Pillar is good and all intact.

A one mile stroll up sheep cropped grass. No cairn. Coins fell through a hole in my pocket into my wellies and I finished up walking on coins! Buzzards wheeling.
