Parked in lane by post box . Short walk up the road and straight up through woods by the Red House. Through gate into field .trig seen to the right. The cattle didn't cause a problem.

12.50 slight half pull in about 150/200 m to the north on west. Back up hill and if you enter the wood immediately opposite entrance to The Red house you'll be rewarded at top of the bank by a short bit of fence with no barbed wire on top. Through the gate and trig is on your right at northern end of small corpse facing open field but the fb frustratingly facing wood and guarded by nettles.

Parking awkward, room for 1 car in side road by letter box 200m N. Walked back till opp Red House (don't forget to bag the cut benchmark - as I did!), then up through scrubby woodland. Pillar in good condition; cap missing, asphalt plug; 3 sight holes open, front sealed. FB facing into fence/hedgerow, but clear today and enough room to photograph. Picturesque rolling views E to Field House farm; other directions obscured by hedgerows/tree line. Ladwell Hill is a class 0 tump.

Parked near junc of A3090/B3043, walked up the hill, then cut through trees opposite The Red House. Flush Bracket is facing the hedge, I had read previous comments and came prepared with cutters to allow access to FB.
