Parked on Hall Lane. Took the public right of way (PRoW) up to TF 05880 72597. At that point, left the PRoW by climbing through a gap in the hedge into the trig field, where the pillar can be found next to the hedge on the western side of the field.

After kipping the night 400 metres east, up track on west side of hedge, till spot trig on East Side through gap in hedge.. Go 50 metres more then easy through hedge with no ditch and back down south east side to trig

Uninteresting location beside footpath just north of Fiskerton. Fairly easy to find on right hand side of hedgerow.

(363) Parked up next to the sub-station down Hall Lane, and then walked the short journey down the (very muddy) PROW to the pillar. Handy gaps here and there allow access into the field. All good. Pillar history: Built on the 18th of November 1948, at a cost of £8 16s 8d. Last maintained by the OS in November of 1980.

Third of five trig weekend on way to see old uni mate. Awkward road diversions meant a long round trip, but parked at S end of bridleway, walked N and found trig in hedge on RH side at start of new solar panels in a field on the left. No particular views.

A 4th visit, keeping tabs on one of my local trig pillars. Some recent damage is apparent at the bottom of the south-east corner, but all metalwork is still intact and top edges are all fine so I am still calling the condition good. The damage can be seen in Bridgeman's 2013 photo but not before.

Followed Viking Way north from lane. Where hedge ends on the left, just beyond this point there is a gap in the hedge on the right which leads out almost onto trig point.

Two years and few days after my walking group last passed this way, we were here again. This time I did bother to go through the hedge to check the pillar properly. The adjacent track was very difficult to walk, much cut up, uneven and slippery due to recent use by horseriders. They are worse than off-road motorbikers but at least they are legal.

Parked on Hall Lane at TF 0587 7228 and walked north along bridleway past the house on the corner. Crossed through into field at a handy gap in the hedge to find pillar just inside field. Original cap with shallow indented letters; FB faces E; W sighthole open, others plugged. Largely agricultural views.

Easily accessible being in hedge at side of footpath. A joint visit with Carole. To access the pillar we just had to crawl through the hedge but there is a convenient gap. Everything in good order and still has an original plug.

Spotted again as I passed by with my walking group, but didn't bother with the scramble through the hedge to check the pillar closely, so this is just a "Yes, it's still there" log.

Walked along the bridleway and had to force our way through the hedge to get to the trig (more Hawthorn scratches) Along the bridleway I saw some of the largest specimens of Burdock that I have seen in a long time.

Walked up the lane to this one and then had to scramble through the hedge to reach it, took the easy option on the way back to the car and walked round the field edge to the road.

Another one the wrong side of a dense summer hedge, not visible from the bridleway. A little further north the ditch peters out allowing a short scramble into the field.

The last find of the day before taking offspring for the team's first rugby match of the season. This one's on the edge of a newly-planted field of fodder crops. Original plug with slightly indented letters. West sight hole open, the others closed. No white paint but quite a lot of lichen. Couldn't get at it from the bridleway so had to walk around the field [again!]. Some agricultural views eastwards but hedge restricts anything westwards.
